My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Joy, a delightful pint-size 1-year-old Chihuahua, weighing in at 12 lbs of pure sweetness. This little lady is not just adorable; she’s also spayed and up to date on all her age-appropriate vaccines, ready to start her new life filled with love and adventure.

Coming all the way from Kentucky on October 6th, Joy has been waiting for a forever home where she can share her boundless affection and joyful spirit. With her playful personality and loving nature, she is sure to bring a smile to your face every day.

Joy is deserving of a life filled with warmth, cuddles, and endless belly rubs. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, look no further. Apply for adoption at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application and help make her dreams come true.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
