My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Amaya, a 29 lb, 7-9 month old, mixed breed puppy who's an absolute bundle of love and joy. With a heart brimming with affection and a playful spirit, Amaya is the perfect blend of energy and sweetness. Sadly found wandering around the city in Mississippi, this sweet girl has bounced back with a heart full of affection and a playful spirit that's impossible to resist.

This delightful girl is on the lookout for a family who will give her plenty of playtime, snuggle sessions, and a loving forever home. Whether you’re up for lively games or cozy cuddles, Amaya is excited to be by your side, making every moment special.

If you're ready to welcome puppy kisses into your life, Amaya is the one for you. Apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application and start your journey with this lovable puppy.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
