My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bear, a lovable 42-pound puppy who was born on December 27, 2023, with a heart as big as his paws. This charming guy just arrived in New Jersey with his brother, Bruno. While they are both confident and independent pups, who shine on their own, they are a bonded pair and we are looking for them to stay together forever.

Bear is looking for a warm and loving home where he can receive plenty of affection, patience, and cuddles. He is super affectionate and loving himself, but his absolute favorite is cuddling up to you whenever the mood strikes. Bear is also up to date on his shots, neutered, and eager to start a new chapter with a family who will appreciate his playful spirit and gentle nature.

If you’re ready to welcome a joyful and snuggly pair into your life, Bear and Bruno are your guys.  Apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application and embark on a wonderful journey with these adorable pups.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
