My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruno, an adorable 45 pound pup born on December 27, 2023(7 months old), with a heart as big as his spirit! Though deaf and born with a cherry eye (now corrected through surgery), Bruno doesn't let that slow him down. He is full of love and energy, ready to share his life with a caring family.

Bruno came to New Jersey with his brother Bear. They love each so  much, we want them to stay together. They promise to bring double the love!

Bruno is looking for a home where he can thrive with love, patience, and lots of snuggles!  Bruno would thrive in a household with older kids who understand how to gently interact with him and his unique needs.

Bruno is up to date on shots, neutered and ready for love!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
