My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winnie, the cuddly new companion you've been looking for. This sweet gal is an adorable 25-pound Spring Spaniel mix with short legs, ready to pounce into your heart. Rescued from a cramped 10x10 pen in Mississippi, Winnie is one of eight puppies saved from a heartbreaking fate. When they were freed, they burst with joy, eager to explore the world and embrace their second chance at life.

Though she was a bit nervous at first, Winnie quickly warmed up and proved to be the sweetest little dog you could ever hope for. She’s super friendly and loves nothing more than to be petted and showered with affection. She's great with other dogs and kids alike too. With her playful spirit and endearing personality, Winnie would be an absolute delight for just about anyone.

Spayed and up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, Winnie is truly ready to walk into her forever home and bring endless happiness to your family. If you’re ready for this cutie please apply for adoption at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. Winnie can’t wait to meet you.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
