My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a big, strong, and handsome new friend? Look no further than Tank! My name says it all - I'm an 83 lb dude with lots of love to give. While I may be young, around 18 months, I already know I have a very serious and important job as a cute, furry companion. My ideal day includes plenty of playtime, lots of naps, and maybe some treats along the way. I am a very curious guy, and am always ready to play, explore, and learn new things. I'm already leashed trained and love to go on walks.

If you're ready for some fun and adventures with a big goofball like me, then apply to adopt me today - I promise to be your very best friend!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
