My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Rubix, a one-year-old bundle of love weighing in at 44 pounds, eagerly awaiting a new chapter in his life. Rescued from the NYCACC, Rubix is a spirited soul with a heart of gold, ready to charm his way into a forever home.

Though his history remains a mystery, Rubix's personality shines bright. He's an absolute sweetheart, known for his playful nature and quick response to commands. Athletic and agile, he adores running and has a knack for impressive jumps. Rubix is not just adorable but also exudes a medium to high level of energy, making him the perfect companion for an active lifestyle.

After a slow introduction, Rubix enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along great with his foster siblings and neighbor's dog. He also loves playing with older children. It would be required for Rubix to have a meet and greet with any residents pups to ensure a smooth transition for all.

Let's ensure Rubix finds the loving, nurturing environment he deserves. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming boy, apply today to adopt Rubix at [Peace4Paws Adoption Application](https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application) using a computer or laptop. Together, let's give Rubix the fresh start he's been dreaming of!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
