My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snowball, a loving soul ready for a fresh start. Snowball is a mixed-breed ball of life with a heart as big as his spirit. Despite having an owner, this independent pup spending his entire life on the streets and suffered a painful injury from a hit-and-run accident. Snowball has remained an incredibly loving and resilient dog. As soon as you meet him, you can tell he’s never lost his sweet nature or zest for life.

Now in the caring hands of Peace4Paws, Snowball is set to receive the corrective surgery he needs for his leg, along with all the nutrition his body has been missing. Despite his tough past, he’s a joyful, playful companion who keeps up with his canine friends and radiates affection to everyone he meets.

Snowball is the embodiment of hope and resilience, and he deserves a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. With a little time and care, Snowball will be ready to find his forever family. If you believe you can give this deserving sweetheart the life he’s always dreamed of, please apply for adoption at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. Let’s give Snowball the happy ending he so richly deserves.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
