My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tigger, a sweet 3-4-year-old, 30 lb Beagle mix who’s ready to find his forever family. Tigger was found as a stray, and it’s clear he’s been missing someone special to call his own.

Beagles are known for their loyalty and loving nature, making them fantastic family dogs, and Tigger is no exception. He’s dog and kid-friendly, and he’s longing to love and be loved.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
