My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are we about to be best friends? I'm Summer, an adorable and fun-loving puppy looking for my furever home. I am very playful and wonderful puppy! My foster home had little kids, and I was really good with them. I will play independently, but then come back to check on you! I like to dig, I love sticks, and love being outside. I'd be a great hiking buddy as I also like to climb on rocks! As you can tell from my photo, I have a silky smooth coat perfect for pets. I love to play hard and nap hard on repeat. Who doesn't?

I'm just a baby, so be patient with me as I learn to potty outside and other basic skills that you will teach me. I'm eager to learn! I have my whole life ahead of me so think of me as your best friend for years and years to come! Come by High Country Humane to meet me!

Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
