If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nova is a four year old, energic and playful dog. She loves the outdoors and is very intelligent, she knows many tricks! She was originally from North Carolina and shipped north where I adopted her from a shelter in Rhode Island. Although she has been a wonderful addition to my family and very much adored, recent medical issues have made her care difficult.
Presently she lives in a home with a cat, but I believe since she wants to play constantly, a home without one may be best. She loves hikes and has a lot of off-leash training on trails, though she may need some refreshing on this since it's been a few months since I was able to go out. I will include two large crates, a bowl, food, toys, usual medications (heartworm/tic prevention), records, etc. with the adoption.
My hope is to have a few meetings before finding her new forever home. I have time and want to find her the perfect place.
