Mathis and his brother found themselves in a challenging predicament after their owner passed away. The family member who took over their care was struggling, leaving both dogs outside. Mathis suffers from advanced heartworm, has fluid in his stomach, and is quite underweight. However, he is on the road to recovery and is eager to find a loving family. Mathis is incredibly sweet, is learning basic commands, and gets along well with both people and other dog s.

We will continue to help Mathis with medical needs even after he has been adopted.
