For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Hi, I’m Velour. I’m a black, female, short haired kitten. My mommy was rescued when she was pregnant with us. A sweet lady took her in and allowed her to have us in her home, so we were safe and out of the elements. We then moved to a foster home where we thrived and are now ready to find our new humans. We all got our names from soft fabric; we are all so soft and cuddly. I’ve got it all, I love to play, I’m friendly and enjoy being held. I like children, other kitties and with a slow introduction would be friends with a dog. I’m spayed, microchipped and have vaccines. If you’d like to meet me, please contact the Rescue .

More about this rescue
We are a nonprofit based in the Phoenix metro area that rescues and rehabilitates stray, feral, and abandoned animals, primarily kittens and cats. We are strong believers in TNR-Trap, Neuter, Return- for controlling feral cat colonies. We seek to educate and support the humane management of these efforts, and can provide traps and advice for those in need of help.
