Colby Jack is a 4 year old mastiff mix who was pulled as part of "Angel Retreat's ACCT's of love program. With this program we use funds raised by generous donors to pull dogs from a very high volume, under funded, and under staffed urban kill shelter in our local area. Colby Jack was scheduled to be euthanized on 9/18 but we were able to step in and give him a chance at a happy ending.
Colby Jack was originally found in a deplorable abandoned home by Police who noted there was no food or water available for him, and he was extremely emaciated. No one knows how long he went in this situation, but he is finally safe now. He is as sweet and grateful as any dog could be, and is doing wonderful in his foster home starting his diet to pack on healthy pounds! He loves other dogs and is a perfect gentlemen in his foster home.
