My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

#A5602845 DanDan is such a delightful salt and pepper colored cloud of fluff! This young boy is totally a sweetheart - gentle, affectionate, and full of fun! His playful spirit clearly shines through, both with people and other pups. He rocked his time with our volunteers and did so well in the playgroup, too, with his easygoing attitude - DanDan has not met anyone or any dog that he hasn’t liked. DanDan is such a smart cookie too, knowing basic commands like sit, and he loves treats, which make for the perfect motivation for more learning! Take a chance on this soft and sweet darling of a dog and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal and loving lifetime companion.

  • 3 year old black and white Siberian Husky

  • 84 pound neutered male

  • Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you! However, DanDan does have some irritation going on with his eyes, so will need to be adopted on a health waiver - adopter to follow up with own vet for further diagnostics

  • Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 7/31/24 as an owner surrender

  • Gentle and affectionate, with a super soft coat that’s perfect for cuddles

  • Very playful!

  • Knows basic commands like sit, and takes treats gently

  • Did so well in playgroup, easy around other dogs - would make a wonderful pet sibling to any existing pets in the household!

More about this rescue

United Hope for Animals is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion and responsibility. We actively work toward bringing an end to the needless suffering of companion animals through community-based programs here at home and across the border.

The United States euthanizes more than one million dogs and cats each year. Through our Shelter Support Program, we work in partnership with local shelters to reduce this number by raising public awareness about shelter adoption and facilitating rescue and adoption of sheltered animals. In the process, we bring dignity and hope to the many lives that would otherwise pass anonymously through the animal control system.
