My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Finn in 2019 from a shelter when he was 6 months old. Since then we had a child in 2021, and another July 2024. He is a very lovey and clingy dog, and the kids have taken up a lot of the attention he used to get. He started getting depressed and more anxious with our first child, and much more so with the second. Because of this, we came to the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can get the attention he deserves and be happier.

In general, Finn prefers women. We believe he had previous trauma with men before we adopted him, and he tends to be more wary of them before warming up to them. But once he does, he's a giant loving pup! He does have anxiety around car rides and new people, and takes trazodone as needed for that. He loves the outdoors, snuggling, treats, and tug of war.

It's with a sad heart that we're asking if you could help us relocate him to a family where he can be the center of attention, and well taken care of.
