This sweet amazing dog was found on the streets of Long Beach by a Good Samaritan in the beginning of the summer. She asked for me to help. Nala came to us, I took care of her shots and microchip and put one of my collars on. Thank goodness she had my ID tag on because 4 mo later she was found on the side of the freeway in not great shape. She is such a lovely dog. Loves her walks, loves, loves the dog park and frolicking with other playful dogs. She is 66 pounds and we are guessing in the 4 year range but maybe younger since she was so neglected. We are so excited for what Nala's future holds for her.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
