Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Yes, our Xena is indeed a Warrior Princess. She is also a chocolate chiweenie, so her goal - world peace - is equally ambitious, but her superpowers are slightly more chill. For instance, she uses her one-up-one-down ears and dazzling smile to disarm soreheads. Her peppy sociability can render dogs and humans helpless with benevolence. She is joyful, not nervous; humble and spry. She does not, however, carry any weapons or grudges and shows no interest in hand-to-hand combat. She believes that there isn't any evil in this world that can't be quashed by her signature boop, snoogle and butterfly kiss combo. Come test her theory!
Here's some notes from her foster:
Xena is quite energetic when she wants to be. I think when she first came to me she was still getting over her procedure. Since the last update she has been a champ in her cone and has been bounding up/down the stairs. When she came to work with me she was so happy and a social butterfly wanting to say hello to everyone. I brought her toy with me and we played fetch in the office for a but. That cone has nothing on her.
She is housed trained and enjoys her short walks. She will definitely let you know when she is done and wants to go home. When I do leave her home she will let out a few quiet barks and will eventually settle down (based on what I what I see on my animal camera). She has not taken any interest in my birds which is great.
