Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We've got one word for Scruggs: Yeehaw! This little choco-butterscotch tornado can frequently be found doing the chi version of riding a bucking bronc, waving his Stetson at the crowd and holding on with one hand. What it looks like is a lot of skipping, rolling, hopping, and snoogling with unbridled enthusiasm very close to the ground. His smile can be goofy or insane, or, as he moves in for a belly rub, utterly blissful. His elderly status appears to be urban legend, but his playful affection, social skills and entertainment value are totally legit. Need a reminder to be playful, occasionally unserious and always grateful for the small things? He's here. Grinning from ear to ear.

If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!
