DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Amber, a sweet senior who is 8 years young! Her heart is as warm as her name suggests. Every wag of her tail and nudge of her nose is a testament to her very friendly nature. She's a social butterfly among her fellow dogs, always ready to make a new friend. Despite her age, Amber has a youthful spirit, with a low to medium energy level that's perfect for leisurely walks or cozy afternoons. Adopting Amber means gaining a loyal companion who will shower you with unwavering love and affection. Fill out an application today and give Amber the chance to fill your life with the joy only a faithful friend can bring.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
