My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET JOCELYN!

This sweet girl is in need of a foster. She is very unhappy in her current environment due to her being bullied by the other cats in the home. She would do better in a home as an only cat. Her current foster will provide her food and cat litter. If you would love the opportunity to foster this sweet girl, or get more information about the foster process, please contact her foster direct at: almarmarquez@yahoo.com.

This is Jocelyns story:

Jocelyn's tale embodies transformation. She was found at a senior-citizen-run colony. Initially slated to be returned to area post-spaying, her charming disposition stole hearts. Clearly, she was once someone's treasured pet. A foster came forward to take her in.

Jocelyn is a Torbie mix, with beautiful green eyes and is estimated to be 2-3 years old. Jocelyn radiates kindness! Never once aggressive, her soothing presence and affectionate heart shine. She flourishes in lofty perches and cuddling beside caregivers. Despite subtle feline bullying from her foster siblings, Jocelyn remains peaceful. Her perfect refuge is a tranquil home with soaring windows, where she'll reign as sole cherished companion.

Jocelyn is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and will be microchipped upon adoption. Jocelyn has a canine foster brother and with proper introduction will do well with small cat friendly dog.

If you would like to know more about JOCELYN, please contact her foster mom at: almarmarquez@yahoo.com.

A meet and greet can be arranged with an approved adoption application. An application can be obtained by contacting her foster.

You can meet JOCELYN at our Saturday adoptions on Oct. 12 held at Petco Crossroads, 24413 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.

More about this rescue

Whiskers & Tails Foundation was founded on February 1, 2005 by Lynne Amano, a vegetarian. Our primary mission is to rescue dogs, cats, to assist needy pet owners, to educate the general public on the humane treatment, and care of all animals.

Our goal is to prevent animal cruelty, and make their lives better while with us. We continue to form relationships with local animal shelters, rescue groups, individuals, volunteers, city, county organizations and supporters. We also donate to other organizations to assist them with their mission objectives.

One of our programs assists senior citizens with their companion animals by finding temporary pet housing, while the owner is hospitalized, in recovery, or permanent homes in cases of the owner's terminal illness, or death.

Whiskers & Tails Foundation believes in spay and neuter of all animals, especially feral cats. We rescue barnyard animals, and educate public on backyard wildlife.

Whiskers & Tails Foundation is a registered 501 (C) (3) Non Profit Organization, Tax ID #02-0737421. We are based out of the sunny Southern California, in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes. Our funding comes entirely from donations, our adoption fees and fund raisers. We do not receive any City, County or Government funding. Your tax deductible donation is used 100% for the welfare, and veterinary care of the animals while they are with us.
