If you’re looking for a sweet and snuggly cuddle buddy, then Buddy Coal could be the one for you! This little boy is about 3 years old, approximately 12 pounds, and despite being found abandoned on the side of a road, he is full of love to give!
Quiet, curious, and bashful, Buddy would thrive in a home with other animal friends and someone to help him gain confidence. He does not like to be alone. He always wants to be involved and have an eye on the action so he knows he won’t be left again!
Buddy is housetrained but occasionally has a fear/excitement dribble. He’s already learning basics commands like “sit!” and is working on leash skills and manners with food. He is very excited at meal times, and he may try to sneak a bite from his pals but is learning to be corrected. Buddy is eager to please despite his shyness (he has been so shy, foster mom calls him Shy Ronnie!) and will make an excellent companion with some patience and TLC to boost his independence. â
Likes: People, Animals, Prancing, Snuggling, Squeaky Toys
Dislikes (AKA What Scares Him): Loud Noises, Being Left Alone
Buddy did test positive for heartworms. He can be adopted under our heartworm positive contract. What that means is he will live in your home while he undergoes treatment at DDRTX's expense.
