My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carrie!

Shes a low rider and a sweetheart looking for her forever home! While she just came into POSO and into her foster home 9/25 - she has been adjusting so well being out of the shelter.

What we know so far:
- She is good with other dogs, currently living with two other dogs her similar size
- Playful but not overly energetic. Say a good medium energy dog. Matches energies well
- Loves to cuddle and just be with her people. She even attends her foster moms personal workout classes and just hangs out while she works out
- Friendly with every human she meets. Loves belly scratches. Has been around kids as young as 8
- She is house trained and good in her crate
- Walks well on leash

She comes fully vetted and with 2 free dog training sessions

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
