A22259 Steven is a orange and white colored, approximately 1 and a half-year-old, 15-pound, neutered male, Domestic Short-Haired Cat.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 09-25-2024 due to the fact a family member is allergic to him.
Steven is a friendly, social, easy to handle boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he might growl at you at first, but his is easy to pick up and friendly. He will nudge your hand to be pet and jumps into your lap for more affection. He liked exploring our playroom and liked scratching on the scratch pad. He also enjoyed playing with the toys we had available. The previous owner says he is litterbox trained and has lived with dogs, cats and children. Steven will be a fun family member in his new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
