My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you know that only 20% of orange cats are female?! That makes Croissant one lucky gal!

Just like her namesake, she's warm, comforting, and always a treat to have around. If you're searching for a feline friend as sweet as Croissant, she's ready to bring warmth and comfort to your home.

Croissant is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations so she's ready to find her new home!

More about this shelter

The SEK Humane Society was started in 1973 with a very small building housing only around 20 dogs and cats. Now because of wonderful donations we have a bigger building and are able to house 90-95 dogs and 35-40 cats. We are a non-profit and are run on donations and a few grants. Our dedicated staff and volunteers have a deep passion for the homeless animals in our area and work hard everyday to help better their lives and educate the public.
