Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howdy folks, my name is Tizzy and I’m a pretty Fox Terrier mix with a scruffy wiry coat and beautiful big brown eyes. I am about 1 year old, weigh 21 lbs and I was found along with a doggy friend at Woodlawn Park in San Antonio. We had no ID, no microchips and no owner claiming us, so 4 Little Paws Rescue sent us to a foster home for fun and relaxation, like a vacation, but with veterinary visits, LOL.
I have a friendly personality and a sweet temperament. I get along great with people young and old, and every dog I meet is my best friend. I’m playful and happy, enjoy running through the yard, chasing toys, playing with chew toys, and my tail is always wagging. I love snuggles and kisses, getting attention, and laying beside you while we watch TV. I’m well-behaved, only bark to alert, I’m already housebroken, and I’m getting some practice walking with a leash. I’m ok in a crate and will go in easily for a doggy treat, and my foster mom says nothing gets me down. I’m just cute and friendly and I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be. Inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
