Diego is a handsome one-year old male Maine Coon mix kitty who was surrendered by his owner on September 23, 2024 because he didn't get along with the other cats in his home.
This adorable young man has a black medium-haired coat, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful chubby face with dark golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.
These photos of Diego were taken on September 16, 2024 when his owner brought him in for his photo session. Diego was a little apprehensive being in an unfamiliar place but he relaxed and enjoyed being petted gently by our photographer who told him what a good boy he was. His owner held Diego for several pictures in her arms.
Diego was adopted from HSOV earlier this year. He was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on January 6, 2024. Diego was also combo tested that day and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.
Diego was neutered on January 30, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 8.4 lbs that day.
Diego has not yet had a new 'weigh-in', but he appears to have gained several pounds since his neuter procedure.
This magnificent kitty is ready to find a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
