My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Tiny Pirates are an adorable quartet of domestic shorthair kittens that came to Murci's Mission from a local hoarding situation. They are all making great social progress, so while they may be shy at first, they are sure to warm up quickly in their new homes with a touch of patience, love, and perseverance.

Black Beard has an estimated birthdate of 06/27/2024, and the tiny tabby trio have an estimated birthdate of 08/09/2024.

Each of these kittens would do fine with cats, dogs and kids as long as everyone was respectful and gave space as needed during the initial acclimation period. They are box trained and like to play and be swaddled.

Each kitten comes spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Their adoption fee is $100 individually or as a pair and includes a sample of the food they've been eating and their medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application!

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
