My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Such a brindle beauty! Sausagette is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 32 pounds.

This little low rider, sweet, gorgeous girl is everything wonderful. You can tell when you meet her, she is just bursting to give someone all of her love. She is so connecting, well-mannered, and only wants to be close to you, leaning in for snuggles. Sausagette is also full of funny zoomies and playful energy that will make you laugh but can be softer and more sensitive in her personality. We have discovered she is a little hand shy and submissive at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be your very best friend. She needs a patient owner who can help build her confidence and show her the world is not a scary place. Sausagette cannot wait to find a family that makes her feel safe and loved. She will need a home where any children are respectful and at least 8 years old, due to her quiet, submissive nature.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Sausagette would love to meet them. She has a loose, soft approach with other dogs and goes into play mode.

If you are interested in Sausagette and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
