**Meet Honey - A Sweet Tabby with a Heart of Gold!**

Hi there, I'm Honey! I got my sweet name from my golden-y eyes and my even sweeter personality. Born around June 2024, I'm a gorgeous brown and black tabby with white patches that make me look extra adorable. I'm playful, full of energy, and-let's be honest-I'm a bit of a food enthusiast. Once I know you're about to feed me, you'll find me right by your side, eagerly waiting and practically buzzing with excitement as you put my bowl down. I just *love* my meals!

Laser toys? Yes, please! I'm a pro at chasing them around, and if you've got some furry friends at home, I'm always up for some wrestling or playtime with them too. I'm a social butterfly at heart, but I wasn't always this confident. I was saved from the streets by my amazing foster mom, and that's why I'm still a little shy sometimes. When I first got here, I liked to hide a lot (I wasn't sure who to trust), but with patience and love, I've been coming out of my shell more and more each day. I'm still a work in progress, so I'd do best in a small room where I can't hide and I can focus on getting to know you and feeling safe. Hiding only delays my progress, but I promise once I trust you, I'll be the playful, affectionate kitty you've been waiting for!

I get along great with other cats, love kids, and I'm slowly warming up to dogs (they're a bit confusing, but I'm getting there). If you're looking for two cats, I'm really close with my friend Harlow, who's also up for adoption! He's a little shy, but trust me, we'd make a *perfect* pair. I'm up to date on all my vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and on preventative flea meds-basically, I'm all set to bring some extra love and playful energy into your life!
