8-year-old Toby is a volunteer favorite, and it`s not hard to see why!

Toby is a sweet senior boy who has found himself at our Adoption Center after his previous owners were no longer able to care for him. This gentle giant has a heart of gold and a mellow, lovable personality. Toby is a loyal boy who wants nothing more than a person or family to call his own.

Unfortunately, Toby isn`t loving shelter life. Volunteers often take him on extra outings to cheer him up, but when he is in his kennel, he can mostly be found curled up on his cot, or whining. We know his cheery, affable personality will bloom even more when he is in a loving home instead of the shelter!

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
