Hello!!!! My name is Coy Boy, a handsome, lovably year old (roughly) Shepard mix, looking for my fur-ever home. I was dropped off at someone`s house, under weight and scared. The nice folks that lived at that house sent me to the HSS to find the best home possible for me. Even though I had a rough time, I am the sweetest boy, love everyone. I haven`t met a stranger yet. I would like you to go slow when I first meet you, fast movements still make me nervous. But once I greet you, be ready for the best boy!!!!
I enjoy playing with toys and other dogs, if you have either of those at home, that would be awesome!!! I would really like you to bring your fur baby with you to meet me also so we can make sure we get a long. Better be safe than sorry, right? I am now fixed, microchipped and current on my vaccines. If I sound like the perfect man for your life, please call the Humane Society of Sedona and ask the nice folks to set up a time to come in and say hi!!! They are open 7 days a week (so you can come see me any day, other than major holidays!!!!), from 10-4. Their phone number is (928)-282-4679. I will be waiting for you to come in and take me to my fur-ever home.

More about this shelter
Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.
The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.
The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.
Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.
The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
