My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boots (with the fur) and Toby, two best friends looking for a new place to call home.

They may not be kittens anymore, but don't let that fool you. These boys are full of life, love, and lots of purrs. They were surrendered by their previous owners, not due to any fault of their own, but because of circumstances beyond their control.

They found comfort and companionship with each other. Boots can be a little shy at first, but Toby helps him to feel secure. Toby is the life of the party! They compliment each other so well and their bond is truly heartwarming.

Toby is the handsome short haired tabby, he is also front declawed. Boots is the fluffy patch tabby.

Toby and Boots have a lot of love to give and they are ready to share it with a new family. They are looking for a forever home where they can continue their extraordinary friendship.

Adopt Toby and Boots today and gain not one, but two loyal and loving companions.

Boots and Toby are currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
