My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** REDUCED ADOPTION FEE! **

RORY is such a sweetheart! Being FIV+ scares a lot of people, but FIV really isn't scary at all!
FIV is not contagious to humans or dogs. It does not mean the cat is sick. It's an immune system deficiency. If an FIV+ cat is kept inside where they aren't exposed to disease and they get routine vet care, they will likely live long, normal lives. RORY deserves a safe, loving home after all he has been through. It wasn't his fault his humans failed him.

5 year old RORY was found on the streets, fending for himself through all kinds of weather trying just to find food and shelter. Scared and alone for a while, he was getting beat up by other cats. Then one day an angel came along and saved him. A cat loving volunteer from Whiskers Pet Rescue! This was his lucky day!! Now safe, vetted and well feed, he is waiting to meet his Fur-Ever family. He is a good boy, just somewhat scared and beat up from being abandoned outside. He is looking for someone with a love for cats and some patience. As he learns what it feels like to be in a home, safe and loved. A quite home would be best for him. Older children would be better for him. RORY is FIV + see info on last picture for more info.
