My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ivy and Willow, two young felines with hearts as big as their playful spirits. These pretty ladies are just under a year. Ivy has the darker facial markings and Willow has a bit of orange on her coat.

These sweet, friendly kittens are inseparable, their bond forged in the great outdoors where they were found. They can frequently be found playing or cuddling up for a nap with each other.

They are a little shy, but their loyalty knows no bounds. They were very close with their owner who passed away. They can be hesitate around males. Once these girls feel comfortable with their surroundings they are incredibly sweet.

Ivy and Willow adore treats, their eyes lighting up at the crinkle of a treat bag. They also enjoy the company of other cats, making them perfect for a home with existing feline friends.

Ivy and Willow are waiting to share their love and loyalty with a forever family. By adopting them, you're gaining two friends who will make your life richer with their playful antics and sweet purrs.

Ivy and Willow are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
