We adopted a rescue dog, Leia, early this year in May. Leia is a sweet 9 pound, 3.5 year old Pomeranian. Leia is the cutest girl who absolutely loves food and zoomies. She is so easy to love and mostly easy going. She's fully potty trained, can spend time alone at home, and isn't destructive whatsoever. Unfortunately our current lifestyle and environment may not be the best fit for her. We both work in the office full-time and live in a busy neighborhood, we’re concerned that these factors might be contributing to her anxiety. Leia has anxiety and fear around meeting new strangers. She's come a long way with her reactivity on leash and improved tremendously but will occasionally bark at strangers who approach her. She's friendly and happy with all dogs. Ideally, we’d want to ensure that Leia goes to a home who aren’t working in an office full-time (5x a week), someone with experience with anxious dogs or willing to work with a trainer, someone with a quieter neighborhood (vs.Manhattan)
