My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a high energy boy, who is very playful. He has had limited exposure to children under 15 years old so we are not sure how he would do with smaller children. Shadow seems to do well with other dogs, but would need to be introduced slowly to any new dogs. If you have children or other dogs at home please bring them in for a meet and greet to see how they do. Shadow does know a few commands, such as, sit, wait, lay down and no. He would greatly benefit from consistent and ongoing training to keep him being the best boy he can be. He is very food motivated, which will make training easier. He was house broken and crate trained when he cam to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. Shadow`s enjoys sunbathing, walks, pets, cuddles and playing with the laser pointer. He, also like to chew on bones and his Kong`s. He does well with baths and likes the water. Shadow does tend to get car sick, so if you are planning a car trip with him it is best to not feed prior to leaving. He does have a fear of loud noises, such as, fireworks and thunder. IF you would like to meet Shadow, please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit him and all our other adoptable pets.
