A21729 Won is a calico colored, approximately 5-year-old, 10-pound, spayed female, Domestic Short-Haired Cat.
She entered the shelter as a stray on 09-11-2024.
Won is a friendly, timid and shy girl here at the shelter. She likes affection and enjoys chin and ear scratches. Our staff says she likes to have a hiding spot in her kennel. When she explored the playroom, she picked a high cubby to watch the room from. She is unsure in this shelter environment and will need a patient owner who will give her time to decompress. Won will be a loving companion once comfortable in her new forever home.

Meet and greets with your family dog and shelter dog is encouraged. Dog and cat meet and greets are not allowed.

$80 for all kitten/cat adoptions. $90 for all puppy/dog adoptions. $35 for all rabbit adoptions.

Additional adoption info

The shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, with adoptions closing at 4:30pm. The shelter is closed on Sundays and all government observed holidays.

City of Henderson Animal Care and Control is the only open admission animal shelter in the City of Henderson. We service the City of Henderson and the residents and animals within city limits. Our goal is to find forever homes for all adoptable animals and reunite pets with their people. We work with multiple rescue groups and allow any good adoptee to adopt from our shelter.
