Mordy is a magnificent 6-year old male American Staffordshire Terrier who was surrendered by his owner on September 24, 2024 because he was no longer able to take care of Mordy due to landlord/housing issues.
This handsome boy has a pale brown/brindle short smooth coat with white markings on his chest/paws, a long tail, and an adorable chubby Staffordshire face with brown eyes, a blue/gray nose, and short semi-erect ears. Mordy has the appearance of being slightly 'cross-eyed' which gives him the cutest facial expressions. There's just something about Mordy that makes you want to hug him and hold him close.
Mordy has a sweet, affectionate personality. His owner told us that Mordy was good with children, and it appears that he is good with other dogs (but not cats). Mordy has been kept indoors and is housebroken. He has some anxiety issues .. Not sure if Mordy has separation anxiety issues since it was not exactly specified.
These photos of Mordy were taken on September 23, 2024 when HSOV Kennel Tech Wyatt Valentine accompanied him for outdoor pictures that afternoon. Mordy was in love with Wyatt (and vice versa) and adored attention from him.
Mordy is a big boy who weighs 77 lbs. He has already been neutered, so he could leave our shelter immediately with an approved HSOV Foster- or Adoption Application.
