Meet Gypsy!

This girl was found at a dump crying for help. A good Samaritan brought her in to find help and give her a new chance at life! Gypsy is SO friendly and wants to find a palace to live in! She is quite literally on the path from rags to riches! Gypsy is great with other animals, loves people, and has such a bright soul! She clearly loves to play and loves to explore! We are the only shelter in Cedar County, Iowa. We take in homeless dogs and cats and help them to find carefully screened, lifelong, and nurturing homes. FOA serves Cedar County, Iowa.

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog or cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profits before animal welfare. Homeless, scared, abused, neglected or surrendered, whatever the circumstance may be, our goal is to give all animals the chance to feel loved, wanted and special. After all, their souls are pure, and they deserve only the best from us.
