Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Simone was the most shy in her litter of 4. She would do best with a confident, chill cat to help break her out of her shell. Usually, another kitten is best, but Simone craves calm and consistency. Simone did very well in her foster home but bringing her in the cattery has set her back a little. The good thing is, she is food motivated which helps to bring her to you so you will become her trusted person. Winning the trust of a shy cat takes time and patience but the rewards as she makes positive strides will make you feel wonderful!

Additional adoption info

Adopters can meet our animals 7 days per week at our Sayreville, NJ facility. All adopters are asked to fill out an adoption application survey to find their perfect match. Surveys can be filled out in person at the shelter, or through our online form. All pets are spayed/neutered and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before going home. Adoption fees are $125 for cats and $250 for dogs.

We are located directly adjacent to the Sayrebrook Animal Hospital. Our hours of operation are:

Mon through Fri - 4:30PM to 7PM
Sat and Sun - 11AM to 4PM

Sammy's Hope Animal Welfare & Adoption Center is privately-operated animal shelter, staffed and supported by volunteers, that helps care for and find Forever Homes for homeless animals. We work with local NJ municipal animal shelters to help alleviate their overcrowding and find homeless pets their Forever Families.
