My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BARC welcomes Harley. She is a 4 year old lab/pointer mix. She is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, Microchipped, on heartworm & flea prevention. She is also crate trained, house trained, gets along well with most dogs. With proper introduction she might do okay with a cat. Harley walks well on a leash, but would benefit from an obedience class to train for basic commands. Harley is looking for an active family preferably with older children . She needs a stay at home parent. She does not like being alone. She enjoys a good romp and hanging out with her people. Harley would make an incredible agility dog, as she is fast, smart and eager to please.THIS ADOPTION COMES WITH A YEAR SUPPLY OF HEART WORM, FLEA AND TICK PREVENTION! More about this rescue

BARC is a non profit rescue serving Brantley County Georgia and the surrounding areas. Our purpose is to assist in the care and rehoming of homeless companion animals who have been abandoned or discarded. We also aim to educate the public on the importance of proper pet care and sterilization so that unwanted litters will not continue to contribute to the problem of homeless pets.
