Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Romy! I'm a pint-sized six month old ginger tabby and white lady looking for love in all the right places. My friends at LIBR transferred me from some of their friends in Arkansas, where I was saved as a singleton baby. My foster mom added me to a litter, who let me snuggle with them while I grew. Unfortunately, pretty soon after arriving to LIBR, my adopted littermates started growing much faster than me and not only was I not getting my share of the grub, but I lost interest in eating. I was sent to a top notch foster family to tackle what is known as "failure to thrive," and while it took awhile, I've come leaps and bounds since those early days.
It's hard to believe I've been in foster for nearly four months, but I needed lots of extra time and attention to grow and prepare for adoption. While I'll always be petite, I think I am purr-fect. However, sometimes I still struggle (like I did as a little tyke) with appetite and eating enough, so need a home that understands cats that can be a little, well, high maintence, and will offer me enticements and high calorie options when I need them. However, don't be fooled, I'm an awesome girl! My litterbox skills are top notch, I love to play, snuggle, and be with my people. My signature sound is a chirp, not a meow, and I'm great at helping with things like supervising dinner time, cleaning dishes, and monitoring neighborhood activities out the window. I also enjoy naptime in the sunshine, watching bird and mouse videos. My foster family includes a dog and two older cats, and I love them, even if they don't always love my kitten antics.
Ok, let's get back to business: I've received all of my kitten vaccines, including rabies. I am spayed, microchipped with registration, FeLV-tested negative, wormed, and treated for external parasites, including ear mites. My adoption fee is $250 and if you're interested in having me join your family, you should fill out an adoption application online!

More about this rescue
Our goal is simple. We would like to enter the rescue community to serve as many animals as we are able. To have volunteers with the same motivation, who can independently work to save lives and find homes. To give an infrastructure to self-sufficient rescuers so that they can assist as they are able.
Most importantly, we want to help teach behavior that helps with permanent adoption. To save animals at any stage and prepare them for a life well lived. To impart the message that for them, life is better, and will only get better from here on out.
