Fred | 16 weeks old | Husky mix | GTA | Likely to be a bigger dog (80–90lbs)
Fred puts the F in fun! This boy loves fun and he will light up your life with his happy, energetic, and playful ways. Fred likes to play till he drops, and would do well in a home with another dog to wrestle and adventure with. He likes cats, especially cleaning their ears, but can play a little too rough for some cats. Fortunately, he responds well to correction and is learning that some animals prefer a more gentle approach.
Fred loves to be around his people--the top of your foot is a favourite sleeping spot--but he can also be an independent boy. He's social and sweet, and is eager to make up for lost time after a rough start in life by packing it all the love, all the happiness, and yes, all the fun. He thrives on routine and is easily trained, even though he'll sometimes make a funny exasperated huffing sound when you stop him from doing something he wants to do!
Fred is great with other dogs, and would benefit from a second dog in the home and a fenced yard. He's been attending puppy training and is the star of the group!
Fred walks very well on leash, and is a very good brother to his sister Daphne. He'd be an amazing and cherished member of any family, and if you think that family is you, then please apply! https://form.jotform.com/pawsacrossthewater/adoption-application
