My foster mom calls me Guunguun (means humming in Hindi), because I hum to let her know I want things..like walk or food, or more walks and more food!
I may be a senior gal but I love spending time in the yard and going on walks. I am a good girl around the house, I don't get into mischief. I love being around my foster brothers and foster parents. Every person on my walks stops to greet me. You have hit the canine jackpot because I get along with dogs of all types and temperaments. I have the live-and-let-live energy! Get me a pupcup to-go and I'll jump in the car with you. Come meet me soon and make me a part of your fam!

Established in 1929, Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) offers quality adoptions, affordable spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping services, pet care services and education programs to enhance the human-animal bond. HSSV operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are the first organization in the country to meet the guidelines put forth by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians for standards of care for shelter animals: We are the first model shelter.

We are also the first animal community center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
