Meet Lupin: A Sweet, Shy Kitten Ready for a Loving Home

Lupin is a handsome black kitten born in July 2024. Rescued as part of a TNR project, he’s still adjusting to life indoors after starting out in the big, scary world outside. Skittish at first, Lupin had to be wary of bigger tomcats and other wildlife, so he can be a little shy and easily startled by loud noises.

Despite his cautious nature, Lupin is learning that humans aren’t so bad and that being inside means he’s safe. He enjoys gentle pets, especially around his head and neck, and will reward you with a soft purr for your kindness. He’s not a fan of being picked up or having his belly rubbed, but with time and patience, Lupin’s trust will continue to grow.

He loves playing with his foster siblings and would do best in a home with one of his buddies or another young cat to help him build confidence. Kittens like Lupin thrive with a buddy, and we offer a discount if you adopt two!

Lupin’s favorite activities include chasing the ball tower, pouncing on catnip toys, and batting at spring toys. He would do best in a calm home without young children and hasn’t had experience with dogs.
