My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pawlene is one of the loveliest pups in our rescue, who is very calm and sweet. She is good with dogs, and cats, great with humans, and loves children.

Pawlene is extremely affectionate and a big time cuddler. She walks good on leash and is very smart and obedient, except when she sees a squirrel and wants to chase. She is truly a great pup who will make someone a wonderful companion.

Pawlene is 21 months old, and weighs about 58 lbs now.

She lives with 2 foster doggies and 2 kittie fosters and does well with everyone. A home with a friendly second pup will be ideal for her.

She is fully vetted, current on vaccination, and is spayed and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative and kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

Pawlene is currently being fostered in Houston, but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home.

To meet this sweet pup via facetime or whatsapp or in person, please send an application available at www.savesomesouls.com

Yards, if any, must be fully and adequately fenced in order to adopt our dogs.

More about this rescue

Our animal rescue section has been organized with very compassionate and dedicated volunteers whose only goal is to save a pet.
Each day hundreds of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the kill-shelters of America. In Houston itself, we have the largest population of strays and our shelters are full with strays and abandoned animals including those surrendered by their owners because of reasons such as unwillingness to take care of them, pregnancy, divorce, loss of job, loss of home, prison intake, loss of compassion, empathy, you name it. Add to this, are abandoned pets on the side of the street by owners. Our mission is to give these puppies another chance at love and life. If every person will stop buying from breeders and adopt a shelter pet and spay and neuter them, we will be able to eradicate our euthanasia problem.
