My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rollo is an 8-year-old Yellow Lab with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! Affectionate and friendly, Rollo is a true charmer who loves being around his people and is always eager to please.

Rollo is a laid-back yet playful companion. His favorite activity? Fetch! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will happily chase a ball for hours, Rollo is your guy. Despite his love for playtime, Rollo also knows when to give you space, staying close by but not crowding you. He's people-focused and thrives on human interaction, making him a fantastic family dog.

Rollo rides well in the car and is more than happy to join you on adventures. He would do best in a home where he can get regular walks or have access to a good-sized yard to play in. Rollo already knows the commands "sit" "drop" and "down" he is super smart! Though he's 8, he's still full of energy and loves his daily exercise. Rollo is well-mannered and has that classic Labrador charm that wins over everyone he meets.

Rollo would fit in perfectly with an active family or individual who can provide him with daily walks or a yard to enjoy his favorite game of fetch. His friendly and affectionate nature makes him a great companion for households that are looking for a loyal and fun-loving dog. Rollo needs to be the only pet in the home.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.

If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.

HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/

When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.

More about this rescue

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. Our mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Our Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
