Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE READ SALOMON’S BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT HE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE GREATER TORONTO AREA
We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Salomon is the sweetest boy you could ever imagine. He has spent a total of 8 years in SOS el Arca, a no kill shelter in Mexico and lived these years with his girlfriend Dulce who died recently. He became quite depressed so we knew it was time for us to bring him here to Canada.
Salomon is a joy to foster, he is super chill and loves to snuggle right next to you while watching TV, reading or resting. He knows the commands, sit, stay, wait, walk, and knows he is not allowed in the kitchen. Salomon is very smart and learns quickly, it makes it easy because he is food motivated which makes positive training for him easy.
Salomon needs a quiet, calm home with a fenced in yard where he can watch the world go by, he is a quiet boy and could be an apartment with no issue. He is fine with dogs with proper introduction but we would prefer him to be the only dog just due to the fact that he lived with so many dogs for so long he deserves to have his own person(s). He is good with children but cats would be a no. His foster has two residences one rural home and a condo in downtown Toronto, he does exceptionally well in both. He loves to hang out in patios but his number one favourite thing to do is be with people.
Salomon is very good on leash, and pulls very little. He only requires 20 minute walks two to three times a day and he is happy. He is crate trained but is not required as he is not destructive. While you’re away, he sleeps. He will be receiving a full dental in October.
If you feel you would be the right fit for Salomon, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/
All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.
NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.
BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!

At All Paws Matter Dog Rescue along with our sister rescue SOS el Arca, we are determined to save as many broken, abused, abandoned to die and neglected street and shelter dogs in Canada and Mexico as we can. Motivated by a deep love of our 4 legged friends, our mandate is to save and improve as many lives as possible. We have seen many tragedies and have witnessed the most horrible cruelties, but we know working together we can make a significance difference. Raising the awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering our 4 legged friends and through the love and support of our wonderful volunteers, supporters and adopters our hope is to rescue, heal and successfully rehome as many of these deserving souls as possible.
