OREO is a sweet and affectionate cat who recently turned 1 year old. He is curious and likes to see what volunteers are up to, with his paws hanging out of his kennel. He will call out with his little meow to make sure you give him lots of love. He ADORES kisses and will give them back. He gets along well with other cats, and would love to have another young cat to play with
Though he's very outgoing now, this young guy took awhile to feel comfortable at ARF. He was always interested in people, just overwhelmed with being in a new space. After two months of patience he was very comfortable with volunteers when he was in his kennel. After another two months, he's running around our free-roam cat room having a great time. OREO will need a slow and gentle introduction to your home but by the end of his adjustment period, you’ll have a wonderful, loving young cat as a companion. We recommend him for a home with no young children or dogs, and for people who have owned cats before.
